This morning, a guy named Adam wrote to me, said he was a Panic fan, and that he was really hoping somebody would write something like Windows’ Active Desktop for the Mac. I basically said, “No, that’s impossible”. But then I got to thinking about what I could do with the bits and pieces of code I had lying around…
Well, the end result isn’t really much like Active Desktop, but it is kinda interesting, in a hack-ish way.
I give you WebDesktop 1.0 (download - 20 KB). It puts a crappy web browser right on your desktop. Just what you always wanted!
