"Try disabling all the emoticon packages except the default one. If that helps, the problem most likely is a misformatted animated emoticon, I’ve had problems with animated emoticons before. Java is unable to play / read it and keeps trying (probably a java bug, not sure).
The best way to fix this is to find out what emoticon package is causing the problems, and removing the animated emoticons in it. You can do that 1 by 1 to find out which one is the problem and only remove that one, or you can remove all of them if you don’t what to work in it that much :-). "
