Hier onder vind je het antwoord van Apple zelf. De Routers spreken dezelfde protocollen IEE 802.1 dus dat mag het probleem niet zijn. De link: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106590
Hardware and ISP requirements
Wireless Internet access requires an AirPort Card, AirPort Base Station, and an Internet service provider, for which fees may apply. Some ISPs are not compatible with AirPort. America Online (AOL) works with AirPort software version 2.0 or later. For more information on AOL compatibility, see technical documents:

Use of non-Apple hardware
In some configurations, compatible third-party wireless Ethernet cards or base stations may be used in place of an Apple-branded AirPort component. Certain third-party wireless Ethernet cards work with AirPort software, which is especially useful for earlier PowerBook computers that do not have AirPort card slots. An AirPort-enabled wireless computer may also join networks hosted by various 802.11-compliant third-party base stations. Some third-party wireless products may work with Mac OS 9 or Mac OS X but not both. Check with your third-party manufacturer for compatibility information.
